Water
Water
Evaluating drinking water, well water or irrigation water provides important information regarding the contained ingredients and the acidic state (pH value).
Analytics
The following parameters are part of the analysis:
- Basic parameters: electrical Conductivity (salt content), pH-Value
- Water-soluble substances (nutrients, trace elements, pot. toxic substances): Ca, Mg, K, Na, Al, Ba, P, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Co, Mo, B, As, Ni, Cr, Pb, Cd, Tl, V
- Caution: This analysis does NOT include a characterization regarding the epidemic hygiene properties of the sample!
Sampling
A representative composite sample should be taken. The water/tap should be running for at least 10 minutes before taking the sample. Then take a clean sample container and flush it out repeatedly. Finally, fill the sample container brimful and seal it. A clean and empty bottle of mineral water/soda can provide a suitable container.
If it is necessary to assess the samples regarding legal requirements, it is mandatory that certified service providers take the sample.

Soils / Earths
Soils / Earths (currently only on request)
Soils/Earths are composed of different materials. They are used in horticulture (e.g. planting soil, compost soil) and agriculture (e.g. soils for flowerbeds, shrubs, bushes, trees).
Analytics
Because of the similar requirements Soils/Earths have to meet, the analytics are corresponding to the analytics of soils.
Sampling
A representative composite sample should be taken. If it is necessary to assess the samples regarding legal requirements, it is mandatory that certified service providers take the sample.
Basic Characterization/Permanent Properties
- Basic parameters/Sorption Complex: Soil texture (KH), coloration, turbidity, pHKCl, pHWater, lime content, electrical conductivity (EC), Corg (= soil organic matter content), C/N, C/P, C/S (soil organic matter quality), cation exchange capacity (CECactual, CECpotential), base saturation, substance ratios on the sorption complex (Ca, Mg, K, Na, Al, NH4, Fe, Mn, H, pot. acid)

Plant extracts and slurry can be obtained from different organic substances and plants in a variety of procedures.

Composts are as diverse as their input materials and their production methods. Integrated in agricultural production, composts can initiate a variety of beneficial processes. On the other hand, poor compost qualities can also import potentially toxic substances into soils.

Liquid Manure and Fermentation Substrate
Sewage Sludge, Biogas Residues, Liquid Manure, Solid Manure, Dry Chicken Manure (currently only on request)
The composition of these products can be very heterogeneous (depending on the input materials and how the product is handled and processed).

Sampling

At least 5 litres of sample material are necessary to perform the analytics.
CAUTION: These products produce gas which might lead to a leakage of the sample container. Therefore, we recommend filling the container brimful and sealing it carefully. Ship these samples with an express service (e.g. DHL, TNT).
